Nestled in the heart of Arkansas, Arkadelphia Public School’s Badger Stadium has long served as a cornerstone of community athletics and events. Recently, the stadium underwent a significant audio system upgrade, transitioning from their legacy Community and JBL setup to a state-of-the-art Technomad solution that promises to elevate the game-day experience for fans and athletes alike.
Working with Shuffield Music Company, Technomad’s authorized integrator in Arkansas, the school developed a comprehensive solution to meet their audio needs. The new installation strategically positions four Technomad Berlin weatherproof loudspeakers alongside two Noho speakers on the stadium’s press box, creating a comprehensive coverage pattern that ensures clear, powerful audio throughout the venue.
The audio is fed to the speakers with a Denon DN-312X mixer and an ART EQ-341 equalizer. Power distribution is handled by a JuiceGoose JG9, ensuring clean, stable power delivery to all components.
The Technomad Hi-Q Berlin speakers, renowned for their weatherproof construction and exceptional sound quality, feature controlled dispersion patterns that ensure even coverage across the seating areas. Complementing these are the Noho speakers, which add coverage and clarity to the system. The entire speaker setup was mounted to the press box, providing optimal sound distribution and protection from the elements.
This comprehensive upgrade significantly improves both sound quality and system reliability for Badger Stadium. The new installation delivers superior audio performance and provides the durability and weather resistance necessary for an outdoor sports venue in Arkansas’s varied climate.
