The Technomad IP Audio Systems communicates through its 10/100MBit Ethernet Interface using standard TCP/IP protocols and can be integrated in the normal building infrastructure. The operational status of the unit can be tested online via the network interface.
With an optional wireless connection and power backup, the devices can be monitored and controlled even if the building suffers from severe damage loosing wired network infrastructure and power.
This fail-safe functionality makes the Technomad IP Audio Systems the ideal solution to monitor and control communication in big buildings like public and military airports, chemical and production facilities, shopping malls and the like, as well as remote facilities like store chains or buildings of international corporations.
No need for extra wiring when using existing network infrastructure or operating wireless, hence saving implementation time and costs. Using only standard TCP/IP protocols, connecting remote facilities is simple, no changes to the existing WAN infrastructure necessary.
To increase the area of paging and announcement distribution, the one way version can be connected directly to loudspeakers or existing PA installations. Several devices can be grouped to build local clusters for even bigger areas of audio distribution.
