Boston College’s baseball and softball teams tipped off the Spring 2018 season in their new home — the Harrington Athletics Village at Brighton Fields. The Boston College Eagle’s baseball team is a NCAA Division I team and competes in the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Eagles’ currently hold the record for longest game in college-baseball history which was a 25-inning game during the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship in 2009. The new top-notch facility matches the top-notch talent of the BC Eagles team. This summer, four Eagles alum were drafted in the 2018 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft; a total of 80 Eagles players have drafted in MLB since 1965.
